چکیده

A novel model of biological organisms is advanced, treating an organism as a self-consistent system subject to a pathogen flux. The principal novelty of the model is that it describes not some parts, but a biological organism as a whole. The organism is modeled by a five-dimensional dynamical system. The organism homeostasis is described by the evolution equations for five interacting components: healthy cells, ill cells, innate immune cells, specific immune cells, and pathogens. The stability analysis demonstrates that, in a wide domain of the parameter space, the system exhibits robust structural stability. There always exist four stable stationary solutions characterizing four qualitatively differing states of the organism: alive state, boundary state, critical state, and dead state. PACS: 82.39.Rt; 87.10.Ca; 87.10.Ed; 87.18.-h

Stable states in the radiant heat transfer of the near field for two parallel slabs

In this paper, we study the dynamics of the radiative heat transfer of between two slabs. In these systems, depending on the type of slabs and the thermal interaction they have with their surroundings, they can have one or several stable states in the phase space. It can be seen that in these systems, quantities such as distance and thickness affect the states of these systems. We show that the...

Electronic effects at 2 and 7 α–position of divalent unsaturated seven membered ring R2C6H6M (M=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)

Electronic effects were investigated on the singlet–triplet energy gaps of divalent unsaturated seven- membered ring R2C6H6M (M=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, R= –H, -CH3, i-Pr , t-Bu) at B3LYP/6-311++G** level. All the triplet states of R2C6H6C were more stable than the related the singlet states while all the singlet states of R2C6H6M (M= Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, R= –H, -CH3, i-Pr , t-Bu) were more stable than th...

What is an Innovation Ecosystem ?

One expects there to be a conceptual analogy between an innovation ecosystem and the biological ecosystems observed in nature. The biological ecosystem is a system that includes all living organisms (biotic factors) in an area as well as its physical environments (abiotic factors) functioning together as a unit. It is characterized by one or more equilibrium states, where a relatively stable se...

Steric effects on the Singlet–Triplet Energy Gaps of Seven Membered Ring silylenes, R2C6H6Si

With the aim of recognizing the steric effects on the silylenic R2C6H6Si structures, DFT calculationsare carried out on 8 structures of R2C6H6Si (where R is hydrogen (H), methyl (Me), isopropyl (i-pro),and tert-butyl (tert-Bu)). These species are at either triplet (t) or singlet (s) states. Singlet–tripletenergy separations ( Me (20.32) > t-Bu (15.92).all singlet states of R2C6H6Si, are more st...
